Description

Coats, Soothes and Lubricates Your Pets Digestive Tract

Slippery Elm is widely used by many EPI dog owners. It is a prebiotic mucilage that coats and soothes the digestive tract and is loaded with the SCFA (short-chain fatty acid, "Butyrate") that is known to fight SID (small intestinal dysbiosis). Sometimes adding Slippery Elm with a little water to a meal is sufficient enough to get SID under good control, alleviating the need for a course of antibiotics. Although this is not always guaranteed to work, it is well worth trying.

Helpful in the treatment of IBS and SID in dogs

    Helps with SIBO

As a suplement for my EPI dog - probably too early to make objective observations, but so far it seems to help with SIBO symptoms.

    Potent!

Published by Robin Thomas on Aug 11th 2024

Potent. Should be more specific on the directions. I used it with every meal which was twice a day. I would keep it at once a day. It started to irritate them coming out.
